Mini Sewn Adventure Map Workshop
In this half-day workshop participants will learn techniques to make your own 6” x 6” Mini Sewn Adventure Map. All materials and supplies are included. Participants should have basic sewing skills.
Ergonomic Hand Quilting Workshop
I love hand quilting and use a method that draws upon Japanese sashiko stitching which is much more ergonomic for my hands. In this workshop, you will learn to use a leather palm thimble and long needle to hand quilt, which each participant will be able to keep at the end of the workshop. Participants should have basic sewing skills.
Artist Talks
I am also available as a guest speaker for quilting guilds and can share my presentation, “Adventure Stories as Told Through Quilts” which is an hour long presentation about my path as a textile artist that weaves together stories from my life as an activist and adventurer.
