My dear friend Bardo and I gave an interview together during an event along the Bad River the other week.
For the event we brought sap from our own sugarbushes and boiled it into syrup, taking in this season which is about sweetness and relationships. We did this in the spot where Enbridge plans to put their pipeline under the Bad River–originally called Mashkiziibii which translates to Medicine River in Ojibwe.
